| "Greg Purdon was a member of the Sarcoidosis World Wide Support Group on America On-Line, since it's inception in May 1996. Greg and I became friends over a disagreement of how Sarcoidosis is viewed-as an arthritic/immune based disease or a pulmonary disease. We agreed it is both. To make his point, Greg compiled what is still the basis of our Research Web Site Listing. Greg and his list have helped all 750 members of our organization. There is not one day that goes by that I and other members ever fail to help another sarcoidosis patient with Greg's research. I used to love to pass on his great sense of humor that went with it as well." | The research section of the SWSG has been renamed THE PURDON SARCOIDOSIS WEB SITE RESEARCH DIRECTORY in Greg's honor.
